February 1 marked the start of a Lunar New Year, the holiday that is celebrated by nearly two billion people across the world. 

A Lunar New Year marks a fresh start and changes to our luck in areas like work, romance, health, and money. While Western astrology is focused on months, each sign of the Lunar zodiac rules over an entire year. That means if you were born in a ‘Tiger’ year of 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998 or 2010, you’re set for a significant 12 months. 

But it’s not just Tigers who can learn from their horoscopes – the Lunar New Year impacts every sign of the zodiac. Here’s what Year of the Tiger has in store for you.

Rat (born in 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020)

With no significant lucky or unlucky stars shining above them, Rats are set for a relatively peaceful year. 

That’s not a bad thing – this is a year you can afford to take a risk or try out something new. Knuckle down at work or make savvy moves and you could really get ahead. In fact, Rats born in 1948 or 2008 are poised for a good money year (but those born in 1996, however, should be more cautious with their spending).

In most departments, the Ox is in for a good year.

Snake (born in 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013)

2022 is a good year for Snakes to shoot for the stars. 

Launch that Big Idea you’ve been dreaming of, set off on a new adventure or tap into your creativity. You can pursue whatever you want this year, even if it feels new or scary – things will fall into place.

Snakes born in 1965 and 1989 are set for wealth, though extra caution should be taken if signing any legal documents.
