Meet Chef Tue! She is unstoppable, from opening her very own restaurant DiDi in Los Angeles, to launching her own fish sauce in stores, to bringing her fans on a curated trip to Vietnam – what can’t she do? We sat down with Tue to chat all about what is on the horizon for her in 2024. 

Did you ever think when you posted your first video on the internet that you would be on a billboard in Times Square? What was your reaction when you found out? 

I never ever would have thought that my face would’ve been on a billboard in Time Square! When I first found out, it felt like another pinch me moment where it felt so surreal that it could’ve been a joke, but I am so thankful for really cool opportunities like this.

If you could extend your billboard space to the next up and coming creator that we all should be keeping tabs on, who would it be? 

If I could extend my billboard space, it would have to be my friend Soy – I have always loved her content [especially] her personal approach to her content and watching her videos makes me feel like I am getting a big hug from her. I love that sense of comfort in videos that I watch. 

Linktree is all about centralizing the many passion projects, interests, and parts of yourself all in one place. Is there a new project or hobby that you are exploring in 2024 that you can tease? 

I have a special announcement coming soon about a project I have been working on for a couple of years now so stay tuned for more on that! 

What is your favorite part about having a Linktree page set up? 

I always have so many projects going on all at once and [so] having a Linktree page is super helpful because everything is on that page. When you go on it, you can make a reservation to my restaurant, you can order my fish sauce online – all of my supporters can go on and see everything that I have going on at that moment! 

Any special note to your fans tuning in? 

One final note I’ll leave you with is to keep being you and pursuing the things that make you happy because you never know where it’s going to take you – your face just might be on a billboard in Times Square!
